~Day 2~ (part 1)

Day two I was super tired but I had tons of fun!

When I woke up the next morning my cousin informed me that it was my to wear this button all over Disney World!  (Much to my chagrin)  It was actually quite funny to have random people saying "Happy Birthday Hannah"  I was kinda taken by surprise, like "wait... how does that person know my name???"  Haha!
Since we didn't have our park passes yet we went shopping in 'Downtown Disney' , and my Nana bought my a super cute purse, (I will post pictures of that later).  I just love all the Palm Trees and how warm it was there!!
This Sea Serpent is made entirely out of legos!!  I thought that that was pretty neat!  imagine how talented you would have to be to build something like that!  I mean I can't even build a small little plane without some.....ok a lot of difficulty!
After browsing the shops my Nana surprised me and took my cousin and I to tea and a friend of hers to tea!  I had so much fun.  This is a picture of the floor as you walk in the door of the resort!  They pay so much attention to detail there it is truly amazing!!
I loved this chandelier!!!
This was the table that we ate at!  It was very "beautimous" as my Nana always says!  :)
This is the rose that they gave me for my birthday!

Me and my cousin Katelyn at tea!

This one......This was just revenge!  lol
My beautiful Nana!
This is Barb, she was also at tea!  I had so much fun talking to and getting to know her more!  It was so nice to meet and get to share part of my birthday with someone new!  I love meeting new people, I think that we should meet someone new everyday!  It makes life much more interesting I think!

Well that was the first half of my very busy but exciting second day on my trip!!!  I hope to post about the second half shortly!!  Thanks for reading, and looking too!!

~Day 1~

Well, it felt like it would never happen but we finally took off on tuesday March 22 for Orlando Florida!!!  I was having way too much fun to take very many pictures but I did get a couple from our trip!

Seth and I on our way to the airport when they came to drop us off!!

This is dad talking on the phone in the Oakland airport where we were laid over for 5 hours!
I took this picture from inside the airplane  I thought it looked a lot like the picture that  they use for all their advertisements.
I thought that this picture looked kinda like we were in space!  Its all so beautiful!

When we finally got in to the Orlando airport it was 12:00am which was fine with me because I was still on pacific time so I was just fine....except when it was time to go to bed.....  It was so humid in florida when we first got there, when we got off the plane it felt like we were in a sauna almost, and it was only 67 degrees! haha! Anyway I had a ton of fun and I will be making more posts soon! (hopefully!)

Spring Is In The Air!

Springtime..........  Let me tell you, spring  has to be my least favorite season because

1. I don't do pastels
2. I don't get the whole bunny rabbit having eggs thing  (I mean bunnies are mammals they can't even produce eggs!)
3. I don't really like spring flowers...daffodils, tulips (ok the red ones rock, but otherwise......no thanks.)
4. It's ALWAYS raining!!  Now don't get me wrong, I like the rain in december, november...etc. all those winter and fall months, I like rain to an extent but, nine months out of the year is a little excessive!  Don't ya think??

Now that I got all of the reasons I don't like spring out of the way, I'll tell you why I do like spring!

1. Because after spring comes summer!  I love summer, I traditionally like cold climates but summer is so fun because, you can go swimming, hiking, boating, picnicking.....etc.
2. Because if there was no spring I wouldn't have a least favorite season.
3. Because it brings new life to the world, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful things that takes place on this whole earth.  Life is a miracle and should be viewed as such!
4. Because my birthday is in spring!  lol!

Anyway just thought I'd post some of my random thoughts about spring on here, even though its not spring yet it soon will be!

My Beautiful Sister!

The other day I decided that I wanted to do a photo shoot with my sister Naomi.  It was allot of fun dressing her up, if you don't know Naomi, she is the very tom-boyish (if thats even a word) so I was trying to encourage her to be a little bit more girly in the things that she wears and the things that she does.  She is super cute in these pictures!

 Thanks for looking!

Two Additions To The Family!

Just to put your mind at rest, no my mom did not have twins.  We actually have started watching two little girls for a family that we know, their names are Chloe (2) and Brooke (4).  While this isn't always easy it is fun, and a blessing to be able to hopefully impact their life in a positive way that they will remember!

Brooke

Chloe

Chloe, Lydia, Liberty, and of course Tiger Lilly (the BOY cat)!

Happy 17th Birthday Caitlin!

                                                         Happy Birthday Caitlin!

My dear friend Caitlin is going to have a birthday pretty soon also and she invited my parents Josiah and me to go to dinner, bowling, and ice cream with her parents and her younger sister Jessica. I didn't get to take pictures but Jessica took lots so if you want to see them head over to her blog (http://kochfamily9.blogspot.com/)!  I had tons of fun and am so glad that she invited us!  Caitlin is a beautiful example of a submissive daughter at home striving to glorify God in everything that she does!  She is such a wonderful example to me, and a very encouraging friend.  I hope that we can celebrate many more of her birthdays to come together!

Happy 19th Birthday Rebecca!!

Happy Birthday Rebecca!

My very good friend Rebecca Anne just recently turned 19.  It seems just like yesterday that she turned 16 and my dad told her that she could now eat out in the front room if she asked!  I was only 13 then and so jealous!  Its so funny how small things like that make a difference when you are younger!   I have throughly enjoyed being Rebecca's friend these past few years and despite the few difficulties, and disagreements that we have had, I can truly say that Rebecca is one of the most gifted, beautiful, thoughtful, and gracious people that I have ever had the privilege to know,  I think I can truly call her my best friend.  I hope that she never changes and grows in her walk with the Lord as long as she lives.  (I am going to post pictures later of what we did for her birthday!)

I'm Letting Go: By Francesca Battistelli

I really, really like this song, it helps me to remember that I'm not in control, and that I need to let God lead me to where he wants me to be.

Francesca Battistelli Lyrics – I’m Letting Go Lyrics
"My heart beats, standing on the edge
But my feet have finally left the ledge
Like an acrobat
There’s no turning back
Chorus
I’m letting go
Of the life I planned for me
And my dreams
Losing control
Of my destiny
Feels like I’m falling and that’s what it’s like to believe
So I’m letting go
This is a giant leap of faith
Trusting and trying to embrace
The fear of the unknown
Beyond my comfort zone
Chorus
I’m letting go
Of the life I planned for me
And my dreams
Losing control
Of my destiny
Feels like I’m falling and that’s what it’s like to believe
So I’m letting go
Giving in to your gravity
Knowing You are holding me
I’m not afraid
Feels like I’m falling and that’s what it’s like to believe
Feels like I’m falling and this is the life for me"

Random Facts of the Day

1.Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history:Spades - King David, Hearts - Charlemagne, Clubs - Alexander theGreat, Diamonds - Julius Caesar

2. If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in The air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in The air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the Horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

3. In English pubs, ale is ordered by pints and quarts. So in old England, when customers got unruly, the bartender would yell at them mind their own pints and quarts and settle down. It's where we get the phrase "mind your P's and Q's"

Random facts of the day: Dreaming

I've decided that I want to do a random fact each day, but today, since this is the first one I am going to do a couple on dreaming.

1. You cannot dream and snore at the same time.
2. By the time we die, most of us will have spent a quarter of a century asleep, of which six years or more will have been spent dreaming—and almost all of those dreams are forgotten upon waking.
3. The average person has about 1,460 dreams a year. That’s about four per night.

Thats all for now,

A Couple of Crafty Gals

Well, Rebecca and I decided that we should put our brains together and start a new blog for all things crafty.  We are hoping to put all our sewing, knitting, Scrap booking, Crocheting, .....etc. on there.  Seeing as there probably wouldn't be very much to put on there if it were a one man blog it wouldn't probably work out too well, and we are interested in allot of the same things, so we hope to make it better by having to minds working on it at the same time. It is called "A Couple Of Crafty Gals."  the link is http://hannahrebeccagw.blogspot.com/.  So hopefully it works out and is very enjoyable, there is only one post right now since it was only made yesterday but we hope to be getting more up there shortly.

The Heavens Declare His Glory!

The other night I went outside and just had to get pictures of this beautiful sunset, this is truly the meaning of beautiful.  It reminded me of Psalm 19:1 "The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

This sunset was so beautiful I wish that I could have gotten the one of the night before also!

I really like how it got the rays of sun in there.

Later that evening.  I kinda looked like you were looking  at the streets of gold.

I Love this Kid!

I often times find it very difficult to fully appreciate my younger siblings, especially when they get into my things or don't listen right away.  But the other day I got to thinking that if I had to choose which one of them would I send back?  Despite all of the hardships, I wouldn't trade one moment that they have been here with me, and I am very thankful for each and everyone of them.  Here is just one little moment that I spent with my little brother Israel that made me laugh, and thank God that he is here with us.  (this kid can always make me smile, he is soooo... hilarious!) (he is 3). we were previously talking about my earache, I love little kid logic!!

Israel- Do you think I'm a baby Hannah?
Me- No, I you're a big boy.
Israel- Then you need to be a good sister.
Me- Why? Do you think that I am a bad sister?
Israel- yep...
Me- Why do you think that?
Israel- because you need to not have headaches!
Me- Oh, I'm sorry, its just hard to stop! I'll try harder!  I think that I would like that too.
Israel- yep, that is just not a good idea.
Me- I'll try not to.
Israel- ok, thats good because you need to be a good sister and not do that.

                                                            I LOVE YOU ISRAEL!
